Yeh my problem is that:

I have added the Crack for Windows named "Valve HL1/HL2 Engine UniPatch v1.98.20 - ViTYAN" from vityan and I have a problem with that.
The Crack works but when i connect on my Server and type "Status" in the Console then I cant see my Steam ID.
The Server says my steam id is Steam_0:1: and that is the short form all user ids begins with that.
The problem is the Server didnt see the full Steam ID.Why ??

And what are this VUP datas ?
The VUP patches didnt works by me..

PS: Look at the Pic what I have added.And look at the Status from me named T-Flash.Then You can see that the server didnt say the full steam id.

Why is VUP don't working for you? However the difference for CSS isn't that big between VUP and RevPatch, so try RevPatch if it doesn't work.

hi T-Flash bin B@dchild weißt du warum du die ids nicht sehen kannst? weil mani mit deinn pc verbunden ist und der server gehört dir schau geh auf nen anderen server schreib "status" und
dann steht da dein steam id..
des weiß ich weil ich das problem auch hatte!hab den blaster gefragt er hat gesagt du kannst deinn steam id net haben wenn du auf deinen server drinn bist

ok but how i can start the patch from revuliton.
When I start the revulution patch is says:

usage rev... <file>

what you mean with this thing ?

What is your exact problem with VUP, rev_patch would be just a worse alternative

(Was ist denn genau dein Problem mit VUP? rev_patch wäre wirklich nur ne schlechtere alternative dazu)

Ah du bist deutscher ^^.

Ja also mein problem is wenn ich diese vup dateien downloade und versuche es zu starten sehe ich ein Fenster und das wieder gleich verschwindet.Also das Fenster bleibt nicht offen ich kanns sozusagen nicht starten.

Und das mit dem Patch ich habe meine Steam ID in adminlist.txt eingetragen aber der Server erkennt die Steam ID nicht??
Ist der Server vllt irgendwie mit LAN verbunden oder wieso zeigt er meine Steam ID nicht richtig an ??

du kannst deinen steam id auf deinen server nicht sehen!!!!!
geh auf z.B. Mr Green surf server und schreib status dann kannst du deinen steam id haben und dann addest dus in adminlist.txt wenns nicht geht schreibs in client.txt
außerdem wenn es mit lan verbunden waere würde ich nicht spielen können

I downloaded only the crack..
Can you say me which cracks i must to download for use this with the server.

Ich habe nur den Crack gedownloadet...
Kannste mir vieleicht sagen welche cracks ich alles downloaden muss um den Server aufsetzen zu können.??

I mean do you use SteamEmu? If so, rather use the new Rev emu perhaps with steamclient emu

(Ich meine: Benutzt du SteamEmu? Wenn ja, dann nimm lieber den neuen Revolution emu vielleicht auch den SteamClient emu dazu)

Ich benutze kein Steam Emu.
Ich habe den Server erstmal mit dem HLDS Update tool installiert.
Dann habe ich die Cracks gedownloadet und ausgetestet welche gehen.
Aber habe kein funktionsfähigen crack gefunden ^^..

Also ich müsste jetzt den Revultion Crack downloaden ?

SteamEmu works fine with Source engine. New rev stuff is only needed for Source 2007 engine.

In Source engine serverbrowser works with SteamEmu and new protections are not present.

yeah but new rev emu can generate unique IDs for all user with rev emu, and for others some based on IP.
SteamEmu can't do that atm.

But I'm not sure - didn't tried it by now - if rev emu works with source 2 (steamclient emu doesn't atm AFAIK)
