@ vityan666 Didn't you want to release a new version of your VUP patcher? |

[fightman] All 3 executables(one for win32 and 2 for linux) is inside release archive. Future versions will include 4(a new win64 one will be added) [Crack-It] I know about new Valve update. I work on it and it is in highest priority. [UPD] VUP v1.0 Release Candidate 4 has been released. BASE: Uses OpenPtch v1.2 Engine which gives 200-300% performance boost for operations(For VUP is improvement of detection and patching speed for about x4- 8x) FIXES: Fully supports new Valve engines(15 Feb 2008) NEW: VUP with client checks switch now fixes "No permission to run %GAME_TYPE" in Source 2007 engines so you can launch your unpacked game even if original Steam is launched and logged in with account which not subscibed to the game. |

[ChrisTX] Ive didnt changed anything to VAC. Im patching game ownage and Steam ticket verification(For TF2 No Steam logon is also patched) But i'll check out your problem. Please note what Valve introduced many bugs with new update(for example automaticv server crashes and restarts which is discussed on official forums). So we just need to wait for new small updates(hotfixs) to be sure P.S I don't have problems with VAC: L 02/16/2008 - 06:06:03: server_cvar: "mp_timelimit" "70" L 02/16/2008 - 06:06:03: server_cvar: "mp_autocrosshair" "0" L 02/16/2008 - 06:06:03: server_cvar: "mp_falldamage" "1" L 02/16/2008 - 06:06:03: server_cvar: "mp_flashlight" "1" L 02/16/2008 - 06:06:03: server_cvar: "tv_password" "***PROTECTED***" exec: couldn't exec detox.cfg -------------------------------------------------------- sv_pure value unchanged (current value is 0). -------------------------------------------------------- exec: couldn't exec bmadmins.cfg exec: couldn't exec cp_gravelpit.cfg Using 'steambeta1:27013' CSER server! Excellent, works very fine! Just a (short (?)) question: How can the version of engine.dll be read out (eg. 3384)? The build date is directly in there, but I'm unable to get the versionnumber... |

New valve update new problem with my standalone! I patched the engine.dll with the latest VUP version Beta 4. Also in advanced mode. Here is my screen:
EDIT: I started my own dedicated server here on my pc and this I could join! So could it be that this is a serverside problem? I dont know it the server I wanted to join already updated to the new version of tf.... Am I right? |

[char-mb] You need to use your brain. I've reversed Valve's build calculation algorithm. [[CHAOS-Corp] Andy] As i already told this check performed on the server. But problem is in client. |

vityan666 I hadn't much time to test it in detail yet, but I'll do that later on and report here. I think it's occuring if you try to open a listen server by for example map cp_badlands -secure |

Vytian I think I didnt understand you right^^ You wanted to tell me that the problem is in my standalone (client). Or is this a server "check" problem.^^ Perhaps you know how to fix it or what is wrong with the server/standalone! |

[CHAOS-Corp] Andy The problem is in the client. But it's fixed atm on the server. So you can fix it on both sides, but the client is the one why we need a fix. |

You need to use your brain. I've reversed Valve's build calculation algorithm. I think I found it (both brain and algorithm Thanks for the tip! I'm just unsure where valve takes the "starting point" - I took the US-release date of hl2 as v.2201, but after all it doesn't matter. So thanks again |
