Having a problem with TF2, ever since that problem a while ago. I cannot play TF2 anymore, I got the updated GCF's, and run it trough Steam. It starts up without problems, but: I cannot check my achievements, it sais: Steam is not running. I cant check my loadout, Steam is not running. And when I try to connect to a cracked server, it says: You need to have Steam to play on this server. Steam is running at all time, and I still get this error. The day TF2 stopped working (Somewhere end 2008/begin 2009) I asked this, and people told me it was Server Sided. How the hell can this be server-sided? |

The reason is simple: Achievements are server-sided for a while now. |

But why can't I connect to any servers then? It gives me the "Steam must be running" Message to. |

steamup! does not work for my garry's mod problem, now it says: "you need an steam engine" (but i have half life 2 played normaly) |

Xinj, delete steam.cfg and let steam update. |

Guys i got source 2007, HL 2, TF 2, CS :S, DOD :S, But gmod 10 is saying "A Source engine game is required to run mods."How to i can solve it ? İ'm using undeadpatch. |

Try SteamUp. If that doesnt work try to correct all gmod files with CFT. |

Unpacking? Check that you have all required files and all are up to date and valid. If thats doesnt help try the old undeadpatch. |
