It's 22.02.2008.
Here's the newest REVOLUTiON Linux HLDS emulator.
It will allow to host a cracked Internet server, which everyone can join.
This time all issues with Steam IDs have been fixed - everyone gets SteamIDs properly.
It's compliant with REVOLUTiON client emulator (REV clients are identified successfully and assigned their unique IDs)
STEAM users with legitimate acounts are also identified and assigned their unique IDs.
Usage:
Run ./hlds_rev with your parameters. Running ./hlds_run would render your server legit, and therefore non-steam clients wouldn't be able to join.
File attached, enjoy.
NOTE: I strongly recommend your clients to use "-steam" parameter on the command line when starting hl.exe so they can be successfully validated! Clients without "-steam" parameter will NOT have Steam IDs!
Also, the usage of Vityan's GameServer Patch on your server is recommended to avoid clients disconnection due to "Steam connection lost" or "No steam logon".

hi,
i m kinda new 2 linux i installed dynebolic i tried 2 run ur file but an errror message appeared saying 'could not run child process......(permission denied)' i was logged in as root user ..
Please help

You got to set the file permisions
========== Edit ========== Hi, I got problem. I run it and it seem to work, but while client connects I get this error in server console: Dropped Player from server
Reason: This Steam account does not own this game.
Please login to the correct Steam account. Any suggestions ?

bad patch?
That error you are getting could be any number of things. Did you try reinstalling?

So I going to need "libSteamValidateUserIDTickets_amd64.so" also.

im getting this
version : 47/1.1.2.5/Stdio 3651 insecure (secure mode enabled, disconnected from Steam3) How can i make it secured? UPDATE; i just restarted the server and now is secured, problems with steam? i have yet another question. This crack should give everyone a unique ID? well my IDs are like this: amx_who

why am i still getting "Steam connection lost" error message even after using Vityan's GameServer Patch with this linux hlds emu? or shoudl i use Valve HLDS Build 3651(Linux) FIXED - ZeroTech instead?
