Aha kk, but I think I cant start my game without -appid ??

So I testet it without but I think the SeS dont support GCFs with non Steam Emulators..... On Steam it works fine :)

Same applies to hl2.exe(edited post again :D)

The point is that eSTEAMATiON.dll MUST be in bin subfolder ;) Otherwise it will just not work :) Ofc thats can be related to vlvticket library which should be original but autosynced from Steam.dll in latest builds9Which is not in case of emulator) :)

We will test it tommorow :) I need sleepage now :D

So, I should be careful not to let the steam client update itself ? Does this version uses hardcoded addresses ?

You didnt got me correctly ,man :)
Its better to use Steam.cfg before launching coz Steam makes prbs and tries to autoupdate which can break the load with VLDR and make load with -clientapp switch longer :) Its safe to rename Steam.cfg from time to time, Then launching Steam.exe to let it update to the newest version then rename Steam.cfg back and launch SeS. Nothing is statically coded or related to distinct Steam.dll. :)
TRUNK eST releases gone througth 3 different Steam.dll versions and always catched them up automatically without any problem :)

If it works just fine without Steam.cfg then run it WIthout Steam.cfg :) If it autoupdates itself everytime,everylaunch then make Steam.cfg :)

I have some feature requests :mrgreen:

1) Option to set the store and community pages to whatever the user wants (or even totally disable the damn browser, lol)
2) Option to show the current semisteam version in steam's about box

Your problem was related to LegitHelper library autorefresh feature :)
FIXED in TRUNK.
Tested with RevEmu configured to use GCF's(Verified via its own log file that GCFs mode was enabled).

Another TRUNK Changes:
Added ForceListenServerToStartInInetMode option to cfg file(Forgot to add it in RC1).
FIXED: eSTEAMATiON Configuration printing didn't showed up on created listen server's console.
ENHANCED: LegitHelper library autorefresh/make routine now performs size check on Steam.dll and if its size is smaller than 2MB then autorefresh got automatically disabled(All NonSteam Emus are even < 1MB while official Steam.dlls are > 2500 and now even ~ 3MB). You must copy original Steam.dll named as vlvticket.dll manually to same folder there Steam.dll resides in case you inject eSTEAMATiON to NonSteam emulator via VLDR.

I decided to push this TRUNK build out for public testing. Its marked as REL and not as TRUNK internally and ive marked it as UPDATE 1 :)

With the new .dll it doesn't create vlvticket.dll, but crashes:

Why don't you do it the Steam way of using WinVerifyTrust(), or did you hook it?
