Hello there, i downloaded all the files and they got all 100% in CF-Tool. But Steam says "Starting download". And if i want to start the game, the known message "Server busy" appears. I tried to fix this with deleting the Steam.cfg & repatch Steam with the UndeadPatch after Steam finished his download. I also made the Validation in the CF-Tool... All files are correct... Hm what could i do anymore?

Make sure you have the file SteamApps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\bin\client.dll and delete Steam's and CFT's *.blob files. |

Finally I could solve my problem: Steam always said that the servers are busy, though all ncf files were 100% ok (CFToolbox). Now I just deleted my *.blob files in steam folder and voilà: I can launch Left 4 Dead! It would be great if someone could post this in the FAQ or somewhere else. |

I can confirm this as a working solution! Delete *.blob files in the Steam folder, and you should be able to launch L4D  So please, put it in the FAQ

Hi, I did everything right, but when I try to start L4D from the .bat file, i got into the loading screen of L4D, but after it loads, I get the following error: "couldnt allocate any server IP port, tried 2 IP address.", and it exited my game. Does anyone know how to fix that problem? Thanks a lot for the help in advance. |

hello guys, i have the LEFT 4 DEAD STEAM READNFO-TEST i tried to use new hacks but it didn't work. every time i try to create a lobby i get lost connection message. could anyone tell me what to do??? thanks. |

While playing L4D on cracked Steam, I get consistent areas of extreme lag. After looking at the console, it appears to happen whenever OnOpen( `InGameMainMenu`, caller = `<NULL>`, hidePrev = 1, setActive = 1, wt=16, wpri=0 ) shows up. Does anybody know what this command is doing, or better yet, how to stop it? |

Sooo.. is this safe to use it in my original steam account? cause i wouldn't like having 2. to switch them back and forth.

NO! Its not safe at all. Always use an empty account. There is a risk that steam detects that you have cracked steam, and they will ban you. |
