Any news for new linux 1.0.1.3 cracked engine?
All CSmania.RU & CityNov.Ru Server run in linux dedicated server, nobody knows what use?
I think use a cracked engine_i386.so because revemu don't work with 1.0.1.3

i can't test this crack, you guys need to and tell me if it work or not

1st start normal server and try to connect
if you got reject try to start your servrr with sv_lan 1 like this: "./srcds_run +sv_lan 1"
tell me if it works for you

@ivailosp: tried your engine, both Steam and No-Steam clients could connect and play.
I'll update tonight my 7 servers and do further tests.

*sigh* i have to install virtual linux to test it and etc.
i took some code from ViTYAN's Projects, but not all and if you find any bug or don't work for you tell me

works fine here , again, thanks for a quick solution for linux.

tested with last server update (April 27, 2009, 5:47 pm) http://store.steampowered.com/news/2446/ , have to set sv_lan 1 specifically in launch command.

one issue after update, not related to this crack since it happens also in vanilla: i run 2 servers with -fork, only 1st one appears online in hlsw (gametracker, css.setti, lgsl report both online), thats it happen to everybody?

did you try fixed version? without sv_lan 1

yes, tried with fixed version of engine,

i get this without sv_lan 1, sv_lan cvar seems to be set to 1 in the server, but with sv_lan 0 behaviour.

* client side
Code: Select all | Line number On/Off | Expand/Contract
  1. ] connect SERVERIP
  2. Connecting to public(SERVERIP:27015)
  3. Sending UDP connect to public IP SERVERIP:27015
  4. Server using lobbies #0, requiring pw no, lobby id 0
  5. RememberIPAddressForLobby: lobby 0 from address SERVERIP:27015
  6. CSteam3Client::InitiateConnection: SERVERIP:27015
  7. STEAM validation rejected
  8.  


*server side

Code: Select all | Line number On/Off | Expand/Contract
  1. Connection to Steam servers successful.
  2.    VAC secure mode is activated.
  3. RejectConnection: CLIENTIP:27005 - STEAM validation rejected
  4.  
  5. sv_lan
  6. "sv_lan" = "1" ( def. "0" )
  7.  - Server is a lan server ( no heartbeat, no authentication, no non-class C addresses )

Don't worry! your old engine (sv_lan 1) works correctly even with the new version 3824 :mrgreen:
