Lol, it works. I just doesn't finish my server updating procces that's why it crashes >_>

It's good but after download last update for server, clients have some problem to connect to server, game kicks to desktop without some messages when they coming in to the game and they hanging on server, that is why I degrade my server to previous update version:

Code: Select all | Line number On/Off | Expand/Contract
  1. Protocol version 38
  2. Exe version 1.0.0.8 (left4dead)
  3. Exe build: 17:30:25 Jan 12 2009 (3719) (500)


After that all clients can connect and play without any problems. :8=)

It's some strange think in last server updates for client I mean version:

Some one have the same problems?

i have maybe a stupid question, does this engine_i486.so crack work with Cs1.6 linux lan server ??

Yes download it from the internet. I had maked backup for v37, always do it!!!!

my 3 severs are p38 1.0.0.9 and they are full, so why you need p37?

because I'm already open at least 20 servers L4D using Protocol 37 under Windows

Now i'm interesting using linux to host L4D server with protocol 37 without having to patch the client to P38 O_o

hi,

i installed left4dead on my root over steam.
after downloading i updatet the engine_i486.so with the cracked.

then i start the server, but if i connect i got crashes.

can anyone help me?

distri is debian lenny 64 bit

okay.

this my error message

utlmemory.h (322) : Assertion Failed: IsIdxValid(i)
./srcds_run: line 368: 14703 Speicherzugriffsfehler (core dumped) $HL_CMD
Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem
So 1. Feb 01:25:35 CET 2009: Server restart in 10 seconds


and i used the option -debug
but there is no error log.
