you should specify path to your original steam.dll and steamclient.dll in rev.ini. There are SteamDll= and Client= parameters in it. Rename your original dlls, for example to steam_original.dll and steamclient_original.dll and point to them in rev.ini.

hmm ...
i don't know about u .. but i changed mp.dll and steamclient.dll also and i can see my server at Internet ...
but when i go 'status' in console non-steam users get 'HLTV' tag steam users get their steam number that's ok
any update soon for the no-steam 'HLTV' tag ?
p.s i'll try using only the swds.dll the mp.dll and steamclient.dll will ge genuine

edit: i used only the swds.dll and everything worked perfect,just the 'HLTV' tag of non-steam users when i go 'status' in console
it's very annoying ...
i hope it will be a fix for this

everything worked on a fresh install copy of Windows HLDS Server
from now one i will install amxmodx or maybe adminmod ...

UPDATE:

i've installed adminmod and it's a little bugy
when i do admin_restart 3 it restarts 3 times NOT 1 time after 3 secs
will test amxmodx next

my original steam.dll...hmmm....do you reffer at my steam.dll (from the steam folder, where i have my counter-strike 1.6 installed), or at the steam.dll from my HLDS folder ?

Man, i did what you said...but the UNKNOWN HLTV CLIENT problem persists...i guess the problem is from the swds.dll...need a new update

Why the hell is "PIRATED" detected as STEAM_ID? If I ban someone with NS protocol 47 it bans all players with it, due to fucking "PIRATED" Steam_id.

Edit: Well, fixed. Replace "swds.dll" from REV EMU with swds.dll from 7.3, that does: players with STEAM_ID_PENDING are having generated STEAM_ID, players with "PIRATED" are having HLTV, so they are bannable. Also, it removed lags from my server.

so we gotta wait again huh ?

There is a problem with hlsw, the game is shown as half-life (not hl counter-strike).

i see only few changes in b4554!
