u cant rename the files before you copied it to the folder...


but i did extrect with 7zip and its like this now..

i rename but the disk 2 files... its tell me overwrite etc=\

can some one make video for it or its alote of time cuz i dont know nothing:(....

or i wil just give up and wait.. =\

its hard to me first time doing this....

I have extract the 3 commands but it extract only 116 from 132 files.

Alternatively if you guys are unable to follow simple directions you can use the script that was posted in the previous post, just be sure to put the files back to the way they were

you can avoid to rename all the file

the dos command don't take space unless u put " before and after

means if u type c:\my documents\xxx.exe it won't work but if u type "c:\my documents\xxx.exe" it will

There's a reason why you have to rename the files, it makes it so simpack can find all the files when it extracts so it doesn't screw up the extracting.

..I extracted them with WinRar and all I had to do was remove spaces in filenames. Check it ;)

What are you confused about? Post a screen shot of the directory you are stuck in.

My directions are really simple

I will restate them here

1) Extract the disc images with 7zip/winrar/whatever (They are .NRG files from the torrent I got it from)

2) You will end up with two directories, both with Project_.SIM and .SID files

3) Rename the files like how I said, Project_.sim from the first disc goes to ProjectOrigin_disk1.sim and Project_.SID goes to ProjectOrigin_disk1_0.SID. Rename all the others in numerical order, as in 1, 2, 3, 4. You can count, right? Project2.sid -> ProjectOrigin_disk1_1.sid, Project3.sid -> ProjectOrigin_disk1_2.sid, Project4.sid -> ProjectOrigin_disk1_3.sid, etc.

4) Extract using simpack. Use the commands on my original HOWTO.

5) Set up revolution launcher. Use my instructions before. Launch the game.
