Hi, i got a download of a FEAR 2: Project Origin Iso. A Friend loaded that 1. When i extract the Iso it contains the following Files : autorun.inf 1KB F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin_disk1.sim 6KB F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin_disk1.sis 1KB F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin_disk1_0.sid 11,763,610KB steam.ico 1KB steambackup.exe 129KB alwb.net.txt 1KB I tried Hours to extract the 11 GB Sid-File but with no Success. I have all the other Stuff i need like the newest Simpack and so on. Any1 has an Idea how to extract that 11 GB File ? THX 4 any Help |

SCRIPT: Can't find file 'GcfFiles.dat' Unable to open file 'ProjectOrigin_disk1.SIM' I got this error while trying to Simpack the file...Apparently I check both the ISO and both doesn't contain the GcfFiles.dat for me to copy... So anyone know what I should do or where I should dl this file? |

warrior5729 So I'm trying to install FEAR2, I've put the directories in right (with the exception of some "file overlap" you mentioned in your guide) But when i run Simpack, it flashes for a second then closes! I grabbed the updated version of Simpack and put it in the folder with the Sim files (you should have mentioned that), and meow it pops up with 137 files found, processing xx files. I went into the .bat and saw that it's including a low violence file. NOOOOOOOOO11!!! I don't want low violence! Do i need to change the .bat to prevent low violence, or not worry since i can just delete the low violence files? I'm no n00b @ this stuff- i just need to make sure i don't mess this one up!! |

hi. i have problem. i know that You have told this but i cant understand your massage. "thats cos you probably double clicked on the simpack.exe? you need to open command prompt and change to directory where it is located and run it from there. Best is to copy simpack contents to location of your sim files and run it from there. And if you're extracting to a folder that has a space in it you need might need to put double quotes around it eg, simpack x ProjectOrigin_disk1.SIM -g16451 -kF183E845B8A0A340CBD6F7922427D7C1 "C:\Program Files\Games\Fear2"" can u tell me how i must do this step? I've installed and finished the game, but I'm now wondering if there is a 'proper' way one can uninstall the game, or do you simply just delete all extracted files? |
