just finished grabbin all the client content in the first post, and grabbed the common through CFT.
restarted CFT a few minutes ago and its outedated too!! thats great news, cause i selected the l4d2democommon.ncf and resumed download, and its now decrypting the files....
anyone have client v1? :)



It says download error...also my common folder for left 4 dead 2 demo is over 3 gb?Also, only client.gcf and lv content.gcf is outdated now.


You can't download the client. It's protected.

Someone needs to submit a patch.


Then what about the Left 4 Dead 2 lv Demo content? its outdated for me to!

You can only get the common.ncf because the dedicated servers use it.

Everything else must have a patch released for it.

cftoolbox say it decripted and most file txt can be read, i hope its fully decripted :mrgreen:
l4d2demo common 0 to 2 update Image
now all need l4d2demo client...

@2pro4nubs lv content its not necessary, its a fuking violence filter...

Let me reprhase:

You can only download Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Common.ncf and its files through CFToolbox/Steam. You need to own the game to download the other two NCF files

Which means you can only get Content and LV Content by downloading it from someone who uploads it.

All right, so I'm all set. So 2mmorow i have to download the decryption patch for left 4 dead 2 demo client, and I can play? Oh btw i downloaded all this on Legit Steam. I wont get banned or anythin right? Cuz i bought 2 games legitimately

left 4 dead 2 demo content.ncf - v0 to v2
left 4 dead 2 demo client.ncf - v0 to v1

Can't check if the client one is *really* valid since it's still without a decrypt key (Preload like) and as such CFToolbox is unable to check the ncf, but the update has new files on it anyway.

I managed to get L4D2 to load, it shows the L4D2 laoding screen (looks awesome!), then after it loads, it goes to another loading screen, this one similar to the L4D loading screen when your start a map, except L4D2 style, looks quite nice, but, it wont do anything, seems to just load forever, lol! Aw well, i got to see a few pictures early :P Well, cant wait for the demo to actually work lol

I have the left 4 dead 2 demo common.ncf in 100% but I can not download left 4 dead 2 demo client.ncf, I get error and was left in 0.78%. I am using the cftoolbox 1.0.10. Any idea why this happens?
