still crashing after the movie whew heres mine.

For those have crash or errors, which version/release you have installed ?
Steam repack, THEPIRATEGAY or 2 DVD5 ?
I have 2 DVD5 RoTaM version and it works very well (Vista 32)

works like a charm, but not with yours client.dll and server.dll but with the one from csmania.ru :

for me that crashes immediately on launch ...

I really think the crashes are not all the fault of RevEmu/CPAMX's crack(s) etc.. there must be more to that. Bugs with the purpose of raging us maybe?

Anyway CPAMX, I guess you're still on it? Tell me when you think a new thread is good.

the game work prefect with rev loader so CPAMX dont wast youre time on this
you only need to set wait for vertical sync dubel boffer in game options
and someone knows wher i find crackes servers??

That's a lame post, really...it has nothing to do with vsync...

The reason its not working is because of steam.

A "fresh" PC which only uses internet to play games online and copy's games from my PC which are shared works perfectly

On my own PC not. So I am cleaning my register from any steam/valve values and retry.

A guy on this page, or page before posted similar.

Woah guys calm down, if you would have read my posts then you could have saved up your time createing theories. Client.dll is custom for each legit user and the Client.dll I've been using is patched however CEG rly acts weird simple Patching made it crash so I had to use a trickier way.

And you should not forget that the game needs actually Steam which I'm trying to prevent so its not a easy step simulating steps from Steam to make the game launch without any other needs but as everyone can see we made progress it works like for 50% of the people so the other 50% will get their fully working crack soon.

And yea CEG is a bitch I have to admit Valve did a good job on that one and its a pleasure to break it

Will try this crack later, but anyway: CPAMX - thanks for your work and time. It's great that someone cares, and tries to help everyone.

Just a quick and dirty way of playing it coop, I use the newest revemu files.
Set the right ipaddress: ip <enter hamachi/p2pvpn/tunggle/wippien/etc ip here>
Look at the maps with: maps *
Choose some map and loaded it with: map <enter mapname here>
Enter command: net_start

Let the other dude use: Connect <enter serverip here>
But I think everyone should know that by now

PS: Still have the crashing problem, but so has my coop m8 at exactly the same time.
Atleast some multiplayer action until the problems are fixed

One known problem I've figured out by the Minidumps that you guys are using the most weird mixture of Patches/Standalones.

First of all about THEPIRATEGAY one, it sucks they packed bunch of shit togheter and call it somewhat cracked and since the most of you have Steam installed it will load like the half of the binary files of the original Left 4 Dead 2 and some of the THEPIRATEGAY version as alot memory dumps have shown.

Like I told before you should use Left 4 Dead 2 in its original shipment state and then apply my files to prevent it has weird patches done by other people. It is not a solution for everyone probably but I suggest you to not use those wannabe releases those people have no idea what they do, they already fail at packing existing stuff togheter so what do you expect? Haha well lets not get any further into this topic fact is you should not mix such stuff togheter.

I'm still studying all the minidumps to get a full working version but it requires time and effort
