Is there any way to use this crack without steam running? I want to get this ready for a LAN with my friends but the game doesn't launch without steam, thing is, we won't have net connection where we'll be doing the LAN. Steam offline mode is also out of the question (friends don't want to install it).

Revloader gives that error and seems to be causing random CTDs, even with all fixes.

i don't understand one think why kaspersky is detecting it as virus!

In my opinion your crack is the best available at the moment because you don't need any of these strange "fixes" like changing something in the registry, changing the date, replace about 20 files or use something like SteamUp. For me and my brother the cracks works 100%. I want to play the game with a friend of mine but he gets a CTD after the intro. Are you still working on this problem? It would be nice if you release a working crack for everyone soon...

As I read about Left 4 Dead 2 steam protection that each PC have a different client.dll & server.dll so that game will work correctly & won't crash during game. One guy suggested to download the demo version using steam at least 1% then stop or cancell it, then check the steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/bin folder and grab the client.dll, overwrite this client.dll to the crack one and game should work fine.

Will this method work? cause I think the client.dll download from steam and the client.dll from the crack has different sizes.

You're funny. Each computer will respond to the client.dll differently. Registry fixes aren't strange. Date/time changes are strange. Use Procmon to generate a regkey for yourself if you don't want to download one. It's the most common cause of CTDs in-game or after the intro.
