Desktop Crash :( Installed DVD BUT i copied updated files from hldsupdatetool into directory. Could this be a problem for your crack?

If you cant get the game to atleast get in game with SteamUp, then you are missing files/having other problems besides a non working crack. With no crack at all except using steamup you should be able to get into the game and play for like 2 minutes or so b4 it desides to die.

In other words, no crack that someone is going to make is going to fix your problems, you need to use CF toolbox and find out whats wrong with your files.

Im using the common files from valve and the client files from Nano.

I think all the problems come from implemented in engine CEG.
Client.dll suitable only for the user (his configuration) who generated it, even if you cut out all its functions from client.dll and engine.
I'm talking nonsense?

Sorry guys I found the mistake :) please copy back the original files I will upload the final fixed version, I also noticed I'm using functions which are Vista or higher specific so gimme 5 more minutes meanwhile u can set your l4d2 to its original state.
