I removed the color and changed the title. I doubt this works for everyone though. |

IIRC, using the demo client.dll will only spawn DEMO zombies. I have a better guide: 1. Clean Razor install. 2. Apply Razor patch. 3. Apply registry patch:
4. Set date to 29 November (this is to fix random crashes) 5. Play! I played 30 mins in Garena with this method. No crashes. Everything works fine, I can kill witches. |

Guys i have this crash,whenever i shoot one of my teammates it CTD's.When i did the proper crack it didn't crash anymore however the zombies did not have the gore on them anymore(no chopped off heads or arms etc.) .All other cracks just give me these random or not so random CTD's. Edit:Fixed the no flying human parts issue by copying over the old config.cfg(from the crashing version) to the working version(the Proper one) and making it read only because it overwrites it otherwise. Edit2:The game works without steam too if you just copy over the revemu files and start it up with revemu.Confimed no crash on which kill btw Edit3:i don't know if this means anything but i have my date set to 29 november.Also just for info config.cfg is located in l4d2/cfg/ folder |

I updated my guide guys. I believe this is the most proper way to crack and play L4D2. |

What's up with these "cracked client.dll's"? You know perfectly well that they will work for some people, and for some they won't. |

darksniper, I must thank you enough, no more CTD upon witch's death for me. the client.dll and the CORRECTION OF THE NCF FILES IN CFTOOLBOX is the CRITICAL PART. P.S.: I did not use Razor1911 version and I just got it running, hopefully no more CTDs. |

It's not only the cracked .dll that make the game won't work. It's all the method. If for example you just copy the cracked .dll without updating the game it will not work. |
