Now im finally able to play this game. Hooray.
Without Regfix -> CTD after Intro. Without date changed -> CTD after 5 seconds at main menu. With both -> No crash at all.

strange, for me, regfix only did the job.

i gotta play longer to see if there are absolutely no crashes tho.

Keeps Crashing when killing Witch o.O is there a fix for this yet?

Do I need to do the CF toolbox thing??
I have 1 comp that has it installed legit and works, but with the comp with Steamup, nocrack, and I draged over all the files from the legit one comp over and It crashes when I kill the witch >.<

Set Date and everything, did the Reg thing, Im clueless -.-' Help would be much of appreciation ^^

For me it only works with the 29 november date.
But I don't wanna set this date each time I play L4D2.
Is it possible to make L4D2 believe that's always 29/11 without changing window's date?

Killing the witch crash is an old problem fixed in the latest version. You have to use CF Toolbox to update your files.

My crashes are actually completely random in-game. I keep getting towards end of campaign 1 level 2, but it keeps crashing without an errror message haha.

Edit: And at a different spot.

Edit2: i'm getting this on friday, so if crashes stop, i'll tell you guys, so you know it's not the game.

I will try to fix the client not being 100%. Hope this will fix the crashes too.

My client is at 100% and it crashes when I don't change the date

client.dll file size is 0..
I've tried correcting and resuming download for the client.ncf but I get a download error.
I followed the steps in page 1 precisely
is anyone else having this problem??

Make the update of the two files and it will be fixed.
