I have windows xp sp3 and geforce gts 250 video card but the screen goes black when i start the game. I can hear the intro sounds and menu music. I'm guessing it's because of my old crappy CRT monitor, something about unsupported resolution or refresh rate maybe. How can i change this settings (resolution and refresh rate) without starting the game?

No one knows how to change the resolution and refresh rate without entering the game? :(

you can change the resolution here
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ubisoft\Conviction
make sure you checked "show hidden files" in the folder option
and im using XP SP3 BTW

I have a question. If my friend and i want to play coop, having a real lan connection, is that possible with SKIDROW crack? I mean he brings his laptop to my house, we use a lan cable and connect. Can we play COOP this way?

I've tested the: Skidrow Release and the CloneDVD using the Skidrow crack, both work.
---------------------------
Open the Tunngle port:
11155
---------------------------
Open the Splinter Cell ports:
9103, 9100, 10196 (UDP outbound/inbound)
80, 3081, 3105 (TCP outbound)
22350 - 22380 (TCP inbound)
---------------------------
Remove any Ubisoft related items in your host file:
Windows\system32\drivers\etc\Hosts
---------------------------
Disable any Firewall(s) you've running. (this includes the Windows Firewall)
---------------------------
If you join a server and see an error instantly it means there's most likely a problem with the person hosting the game.

If you join a server and you see "Joining..." and then an error it means there's most likely a problem on your side.
---------------------------
If you're trying to play with a friend, you're probably better off joining another lobby, it will be much easier to find each other's games like that.
