wrong topic dude, there was another topic especially created for updates 2 and 3. did you copy the crack after updating ?

Yes i have already updated everything i even got steam... but they still say steam must be running to play
also i have searched through many forums...still no luck i even googled

okay this is what i did
1st.I installed blackops
2nd. used skid row patch 1-3
3rd. used the skidrow crack....
4th. tried without steam [steam must be running]
5th. tried again this time with steam [same thing steam must be running]
6th. reinstalled everything still same
___________________________
I tried those threads...still no luck is it because my game have some problem?

Egghead, u forgot the SKIDROW folder where the crack is.

I think there is no need for that folder bcoz when installing update it automatically copies cracked content to the installed folder
