. Btw is anyone aware of this patch, somewhere to be downloaded ? Or is it only auto-served with the ubisoft launcher ?

I think he meant, being able to access the game menu with an emulator, to log these "calls" - did I get it right? Because accessing the menu without access to further content (except options) is already possible with unofficial methods... |

It looks like Ubisoft has changed the DRM according to this article:http://www.pcgamer.com/2010/12/31/constant-net-connection-no-longer-required-for-ubisoft-games/ now the games require connection only when they are launched it has been changed on AC II and Splinter Cell could some1 check if it's the same for HAWKS 2. If it's the same the crack should be a piece of cake |

Tested and confirmed. Just installed AC2 again, shut down my cable modem during playing and no problems. |

as far as I know,you still must Internet connection to boot the game,so it's Still Awful,and deserve to be Cracked! come one guys,we can't give up to an awful DRM like this! lest try harder to crack the newest DRM games! |

Actually, this should help us a lot, because if it only contacts ubi servers at game startups(no "checkpoints"), then we don't need to play through and sniff all communications and we can concentrate on the startup auth. |

HAWX 2 Still needs constant internet connection. DRM has been changed only for the old titles. |

I've took a look at the mitm log for HAWX 2. It seems that their doing some obfuscating on the data sent. Just take a look at the first few and the last few commands. There is an always repeating "keep-alive" pattern. But the opcodes of it are changed after the reauthentification has happened. The other commands just seems to be area codes or something similar. edit: Just took a look at AC2 and SCC. Ubi created server emulators which are downloaded by the UbiLauncher. So if no emulator is downloaded, when launching the game, then there's no fix available. |
