what do you guys recommend as the best steam patcher? there's so many I don't know which is better or the differences between them.
side question: I've been using smartsteam for a while, but recently get a "steamservice.exe the handle is invalid" error when launching a game. the game still launches though, but i never got the error before. any fixes?

In my opinion most of them vary very little. I'm using SmartSteam myself as I like the .ini features it has. I've never gotten that error before, perhaps you should post about it in it's release thread.

Add another SmartSteam user here. If you have enough time, just try all of them on a blank account and see which one you like the most.

MiSteam works pretty well for me. No complaints from me.
