I was trying to experiment with the Borderlands DLCs I downloaded from here.

So what I did was copying my steam copy of Borderlands in /steamapps/common to another drive. Then I tried to copy the dlc content into the copy I made, without the ncf. I tried to play it using the Borderlands.exe, which was the one downloaded by Steam. It launched like usual, except it had no overlay and all that and when I went to a New-U station, the location was displayed. I tried going there, except I needed a serial key for it. So does anyone know how to bypass it?

In other words, how can I make the DLC non-steam or bypass the serial code bit.

By the way, do you think that if I copy the cracked DLC over to my steam Borderlands, do you think it'll give me achievements and all that? I didn't buy the DLCs so will it have a chance of disabling my account?

Since DLC 1 & 2 need cracked files, I wouldn't use them on my legit account.

Alright, okay, thanks for that. I tried joining a friend of mine multiplayer and I got kicked for it. Is it because the maps are cracked?

EDIT: Nvm, seems like I didn't have the DLC he was on.
