CS.RIN.RU - Steam Underground Community

My Gmod won't launch at all. It's crashing few seconds after the "preparing to launch garry's mod..." window close (before the application show anything) and give me this error report:
"hl2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
If I click on the "To see what data this error report contains, click here." thing I also see this:
"AppName: hl2.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0012e882"

"ModName: unknown", looks suspicious...

I rebooted my computer lately, and downloaded smartsteam 1.41
Before I rebooted I had older verion of smart steam (I believe it was 1.38 or something like that) and Gmod used to work.

I tried to reinstall Gmod, redownload some GCFs and it didn't help.
Other games like HL2, CSS, and TF2 are working.
I googled for hours for solution but it seems that no one posted about such an error.

What could it be?

Anyone have any idea what can cause it?

Some new update messed up gmod. There was a topic few days ago here, i can't find it :S
Well, many have problems with legit and non-legit games. "Fine".
BTW I think you can solve the problem using a lil' older GCF, like about v90... Does anyone have a v93/newer WORKING gcf?

OMFG a spoiler

I found a solution.
I deleted the garrysmod folder in "steamapps/username/garrysmod".

Now I can launch the game.
