Hi guys I love this site and learned a lot of features but i'm still a noob so don't be angry at me pls.

So I've downloaded Team Fortress 2 for my friend with cracked steam(undead 666 by SaSio) and I've received all the required files like here.
The download was slooow like 40 min for 10 gb anyways off topic.
So I've started Team fortress 2 and the game starts, didn't give me any errors.
I've changed my resolution and buttons as well and there was a button with tutorial so I've pressed and it loads but all of a sudden it gives me a error steam validation rejected.
So I've tought maybe it uses Internet so I've made a lan server and still gives me the same error.
So I went offline with steam and still no succes.
I validated with steam itself and it didn't give me any errors.
I've used the search engine and i found this the 4 th post.

note my friends pc does meet the system req.
I know I only can play on cracked servers.

The first thing we want is to play singleplayer and lan thanks to the new bots AI of left 4 Dead 2, second is playing online.
We did join a cracked server and we got the same error so to try it again is useless.
what i mean is that I know i only can play LAN or on cracked server(thanks to the FAQ).
Last month i tried to play counter-strike 1.6 V55 on cracked servers and it worked, just like the "create server" that DID/DOES work.

Download TF2 dedicated server in the steam tool's tab.
Launch it and you'll get a cracked server.
It works flawlessly with SmartSteam

Do I really have to download dedicated server? Because i made a server in counter-strike without using dedicated server.
I don't like dedicated server because I don't understand it and it takes time i guesse.
Is this the only way? I tought you'll need to crack steam (UnDead 666), download your game(Team fortress 2) and just play it (note: NOT on legit servers).
PS: will the tuorial work? I also tried the UCL launcher and I've got an error like CD authorization....
I'll try it when my friend comes to my house.

Ok last thing, for cracked servers in team fortress 2, I only have to select servers without the shield icon right?
off topic: Does the game run well on intel 945GM video card? some ppl on the web say yes others say no.

helped me out with LAN now I only need help with cracked servers without any tools like dedicated server.

sorry again but do you have to install the TF2 dedicated server tool to join or to host LAN forgot to mention it because i don't understand it. could you explain it pls?Like what it is, what it is used for and is it optional. I'm sorry because I'm waisting your time

no, it should work with Create Server in game and with sv_lan 0 in console.
I use TF2 dedicated server, it is simple.
