Technologeek wrote: gl_skip 1 IS useful, because when a game stops -> it goes to lobby :s Ok I found what to do : gl_skip 1 sv_levelrotation 1 And remove all map commands Done ! EDIT : Tutorial updated ! Thanks again Xero852 No problem, just confirmed. I'm going to keep gl_StartGame in there because I'm pretty sure that starts the game right away instead of waiting for a player to join and trigger it. My server is up and running using this method now. magnitude wrote: anyone know the command to change the length of the game between map rotations? I'd like to know this as well, I thought it was "g_roundtime" but that doesn't seem to be it...

Going to school tomorrow >< Thank you all for testing and support ! Keep it alive Good night

So I guess the limiter depends on the game type... makes sense, for team death match i think you'd want to change the frag limit
variable: g_fraglimit type: int current: 0 help: Number of frags before a round restarts. Default is 0, 0 means no frag-limit.
variable: g_neverFlagging_maxMatchTimeRemaining type: float current: 10 help: (Secs.) The maximum amount of time allowed left on the clock in the last round of CTF for the "Never Flagging" award to be awarded. (Remember that strings will also need to be changed if this is changed!!)
variable: g_roundtime type: float current: 2.5 help: Duration of a round (in minutes). Default is 2.5, 0 means no time-limit. << I assume this is for specific game modes too
variable: g_scoreLimit type: int current: 3 help: Max number of points need to win in a team game. Default is 3
variable: g_scoreLimitOverride type: int current: 0 help: Override for score limit - because score limit is set by the variant

I just thought about something else, seeing that we can compile our own server build, I wonder if it would be possible to do it for the retail version later on. Let's say we copy the bat files to compile one, I wonder if it wouldn't compile one based on the exe or the game files, therefore it would compile a server build pertaining the current or patched version of the game. Would be sweet if it really did work that way

Mmm, don't know what I'm doing wrong now, I used your system.cfg contents, but running a server now I can't see my own server in the browser and if I connect to it via the console, it just throws me into the lobby Don't know what modifications you made to it, but the previous system.cfg contents you had when you first added the troubleshooting section worked 100% for me. PS: I think I found my problem.
