Hello, I have original Garry's Mod on my Steam account, but I want to crack it for my friend. So I used Misteam, which has worked with Garry's Mod about a year ago. But now I can't start Garry's Mod anymore. It only shows this error:  Anybody has a solution for this problem? |

You don't need to. Download the latest MiSteam version instead ( viewtopic.php?f=29&t=52701 ) |

I already downloaded all the files from the first post. But the error is still the same. |

Ok then, validate your cache (Steam can do) and ensure that your Steam installation is up to day (ie that there is no steam.cfg file). If in question, delete the clientregistry.blob file in the Steam folder, let it update without MiSteam and then apply MiSteam afterwards. |

Ok, i validatet it, an it downloaded some files. After that I tried again, but the same error occurs. Anybody can help? |

I have the exact same problem as haering. I haven't got legit GMod but I used a friend's account to download the gcf's from legit Steam client and used the latest MiSteamPrep with all the fixes from viewtopic.php?f=29&t=52701 and I get the same problem. Engine Error: SteamClient()- >GetISteamUser. I use the original Steam.dll from legit Steam client on the root folder of the game (SteamDll = OriginalSteam.dll) and I commented the ClientDll line from rev.ini because the game won't launch with the error Fatal Error: VSteam is not running. RevEmu requires VSteam to be running if you aren't hosting a dedicated server!. Any help would be appreciated. Well now i know i am not the only one with this problem, if someone knows how to fix it, please tell us, i'm going to see if i can fix it in some way, i'll be back when i have the answer (i hope)  .
