Does anyone know what they actually mean with "2nd Generation Intel® Core™ and Core™ vPro® processors"?

I suppose you'll be able to turn it off if you want. Just like you can disable GMail's suspicious activity notifications.

Intel IPT is designed to not have any issues with that, however, as the actual code and generation routine is IPT manufacturer depedant, I can't tell how Valve will handle this.

I guess you would also need to infect his PC to receive required codes from the CPU.

Many services use one-time passwords so this is becoming less of a problem. Even if you know all of my passwords, you need to infect or steal my iPhone to get required OTP's.
