Hey guys i have this problem with Shogun 2 Total War: everytime I launch the game it gives me black screen and my PC freezes up and I have to reboot. :S The steps I made to install: -Unpacked with Phoenix up-to-date. -Launched the chinese crack and patch. -Open game. Thanks in advance for the support.  PS: After I reboot if i go to the folder of the game i get a Steamstart file that I think it musn't be there. |

seems like you did everything right. which phoenix version did you use? in the meantime ... just reinstall and see if it fixes something

I cant start shogun i instaled it with pheonix used that china crak and when i try to press on game nothing happens whats wrong :/ |

Could one please give me a serial? I have downloaded the game together with the patch from isohunt and a chinese site, but when trying to install the game it asks me for a serial, and although in the nfo file they say use one of our serials, there is no serial around, just a pass protected zip with some files like keygen etc, that make you fill some questionaires or install something. I erased every file. I just have the 15,9 gb game folder. can anyone upload the cracked binaries of the first folder? thanks ------------ I used Phoenix 1.4 Beta 7, but I don't think that is a problem. Downloading V2 Crack and I'll comment if it works now... |

@bigcipi you downloaded a fake release. the pass protected is a hoax to get your docs and propaply sell you some shit. download the ali213 release ( there is a new crack posted in one of the shogun threads which alows save and load ) then use phoenix to install the game not the normal installer. this should fix your problems. @asmens which crack? just the crack or the update which includes the crack? you need the second one to get it to work ... |

@.eins : i have the same problem as asmens, i downloaded the 11.? gig version, then i downloaded the update/crack :ali213.net-11gpatch15.8, installed it in the same folder. the game doesn't start. now i downloaded the new crack, installed that one also, game stil doesn't start. when i doubleclick the exe file and the proces starts 2secs in task manager and thn stops but nothing even pops up edit: and i installed the game with phoenix |

since you used the proper crack my guess would be that something whent wrong during the phoenix extraction. did you updated the phoenix CDR? i used phoenix 1.2 full not the new 1.5 beta to extract. but ppl here used the new versions and it worked. i guess you already tried a new install tbh i am pretty new to phoenix and all this stuff. maybe someone else here has a clue what he could try? @vamosolimpo maybe it's not due to the cracked version of the game but due to a bug on your pc ... just a guess since your game does start and then crash. drivers up to date? do other games work? |

So it has apeared a second version of that chinise crack this version doesn t has problem with load save ti is confirmed that u can go over turn 50 So now the steps to play this game are: 1. download clone 2. download phoenix and extract the files 3. use the first chinise crack 4. aply the second version by downloading this http://www.2shared.com/file/3eUHxsML/al ... ackv2.html just extrac that archive copy to directory of the game run that file named shogun2.V2.Crack.exe click on that buton with dvd leters and then click ok So what if it is a chinise crack it is working very good no crashes for me And yes u cand create custom battles with enemy ai cpu so just like in multiplayer but instead of human enemy u put there cpu |

I can confirm that my friend has been playing with the V2 crack for quite a while now without any problem to save and load his game, mine is almost finished, then I'm going to try and see if we can get MP working. If we do, I'll post feedback and steps here.
