Der, I got the ahu release, patched it with the Half-Life_2_Fixall_P_1. I can load up the game but after half a minute I still get the "Connection to Steam servers lost" nonsense and then the show's over. Still the game looks good for them 30 seconds... Any help?

Hi, I would like to thank AHU and \\n3tb0ng for this fantastic version of HL². You guys rock! It took a long time to find a real good release that had allmost every bug fixed but it was worth it. I also applied the fix from P L m o K and EDMINISTRATOR (cause i was curious if it should fix the AI) and it fixed the ai_norebuildgraph "1" (node graph rebuilding bug) ai_disable "0" (AI bug) bugs that everybody was having also in this release (although AHU made a autoexec.cfg that temporarely corrected this problem). I have also deleted those lines from the autoexec.cfg to be sure that those commands are not working and don't influence the AI and game. And now it is finally working just like a real retail version for me. So if somebody has the AI problem with this release like the bitch that don't want to go in the elevator and stops talking and does nothing anymore you should apply the fix from P L m o K and EDMINISTRATOR and delete ai_norebuildgraph "1" ai_disable "0" from your autoexec.cfg. It works great for me, the bitch now actually steps in the elevator and begins talking again, so maybe it works also for you (make sure you make a backup and don't blame me if it shouln't work for you). And btw when i first tried this release out i was getting the famous error from steam. I used the shortcut so it should had to be working correctly according to a lot of people on here, but i also read that for some people it does work good and some people have the same problem with steam. So also i applied the APE client.dll fix and after that it does work good. Maybe something for AHU to re-check and correct the problem. But anyway it is still the best release of HL² out there!! I recommend it to everyone. Thanks a lot AHU, peace and cheers. ps. i will post any errors or bugs that i experience after this fix.

Then try running.
