can load the game and enter the main menu,but when i start the game, came this error, any solution?

after i tried to copy the client.dll & server.dll from hl2\bin to hl1\bin, i can enter the game, but cannot aee any people inside, but i can see the torch, see the picture below


see the bright point in the centre front? just at the door, but nobody's there

It works fine, on hl2 retail make a shortcut to ur half life 2

"X:Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch # -steam -game hl1

#= the number for hl2 usually it's 220 I think or 222 whatever urs is
just make the shortcut like that ;) works fine except it sux I'm glad I didn't get hl1 source, because it's only stupid water and physics diffrences nothing new!!!! not even new models. DAMN

OnGameRulesCreationStringChanged: missing gamerules class "CHalfLife1" on the client.

I'm using the HALF-LIFE.2.PROPER.OFFLINE.NOSTEAM-AHU release.

Does somebody have a sollution?

Try the client.dll fix posted a few pages back. I also get that error at first but after the fix it worked.
