When i try to run the game from the Desktop shortcut I get this error message= Invalid or corrupt background texture materials/console/background01.vtf Using the update crk with 5cd install......Any idears Thanks |

At start of each chapter, it doesn't show the chapter title. And When I quicksave, it doesn't show the message" game saved" either. Somebody knows about this problem? |

Sounds like a problem with the game itself, not so much the patch. See how it refers to hl2.exe? The games WAS built in VC++. Unless...unless vengeance patched the hl2.exe file. |

i have source working. the question i have is weither i can get it to dedicate. This way i can dedicate a cracked server. but the way i see is its listen based server and not dedicated. does anyone have any ideas? |

TetrisTheMovie actually that vengeance patch who created the hl2.exe when you click on the path itself under user folder. so i do not know what caused it to do so.... |

i am updated my hl2 gcf files to 7 protocol all working ok with VENGEANCE crack but then i want to save game i got this error: --------------------------------- Source - Fatal Error Could not acquire necessary game files because the connection to Steam servers was lost --------------------------------- I'm playing hl2 misions not hl2mp Please say hot too fix it. Thanks |
