why the version is still 2217 after following your way?
and when i try to enter a server, it says: your version is different from server....

u must not have done it right, or not updated your gcf properly

I have emp version, and the fix worked, i can connect, but the visuals are a little jumpy. I know it's not my comp or my ping, which is always around 20's 30's. I was wonderring if anyone else noticed this problem.

if u have gcfs, then just put them in steamapps and update them, if u dont have them u will need to re-d/l them...yes, u can use hellbosses exploit....i use stars verifier from his post in the sticky.....it verifies the files..hence the name verify?

you know what ,i tried to connect,in server but it just wont go thru all the way ...ITS STUCK IN RETRIEVING SERVER INFO ...I TRIED THE GCF EXTRACT AND EVERYTHING BUT IM ALWAYS STUCK IN RETRIEVING SERVER INFO...WTF IM A GONNA DO? I DID ALL YALL INSTRUCTION ,IM SCREWED!!!
