[2.]then lonin to steam ,and minimize steam.
[3.]run the shotcut on your desktop .

No it still doesn't work  , when I edit the shortcut to "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\User\Counter-Strike Source" -steam -game cstrike it opens the Counter-Strike Source folder.
Perhaps I still need to replace more files from the hacked version?

oh no ! not like that !
edit your shortcut like this :
1.right click on hl2.exe in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\User\Counter-Strike Source\
2.click 'send to' --> 'Desktop shotcut
3.go to your desktop
4.right click the shotcut and click 'Properties'
5.edit to this in the first table:
"C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\User\Counter-Strike Source\hl2.exe" -steam -game cstrike
6.then strat your game by double click the shortcut

I did it like that, but then it wanted steam.dll. I then copied steam.dll to the C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\User\Counter-Strike Source\ directory, but then I got another message: SteamStartup() failed....

1. exit steam
2. delet the steam.dll in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\User\Counter-Strike Source\
3. do you have steamenu.ini in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\User\Counter-Strike Source\ ??
if there it is , just open it and edit to this :

Yes, it is there.
What is the size of your hl2.exe, mine is 2,002,944 bytes.

ok .done .
0.quit steam
1.donwload :
ftp://vng:vng@vng-plmok.dns0755.net:14361/Valve.rar
2.UNrar it , and you will get the ' Valve ' folder .
3. copy the valve folder to C:\program files\
4.system will ask **** . you should click YES
5.edit
C:\Program Files\Valve\steam\steamApps\user\Counter-Strike Source\steamenu.ini
to this :

6.login to steam
