i quastion my ppatcher still works never get any error that said ticket expires why is that then

I tried changing the path to the so called original steam.dll but i still get the certificate error message.
What do you mean by the original steam.dll... the one of the Steam that is installed at the beginning of the HL2 Setup?
I set up the steam form the Vengeance "edition" in I:\HL2\Valve\Steam
But there are numerous Steam.dll files spread in other folders...
like I:\HL2\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\user\Half-Life 2\bin
...what to do ?

What can it do today...? Is it able to download games..?
The crackers should look into this.
Edit: There are no games in the "My games"-list.
