Steam updated, with new ticket system/ master server setup. no cracks currently work. the known are brainstorming workarounds. good luck ;> ps im looking for a dedicated server eastcoast usa. msg me -monster |

hahhhhh, IT WORKS. played prodigy with vengeance dvd release. seems i already dl the files when trying the cd exploit, but i never got it working. your post made the game online in 5 min, thanks man. hl2 deathmatch works, but it crashed on some servers. i used steam to update hl2,cs and deathmatch. so this method works, for now. cs: Protocol version 7 Exe version 1.0.0.13 (cstrike) Exe build: 15:47:54 Dec 15 2004 (2229) deathmatch: Protocol version 7 Exe version 1.0.0.1 (hl2dm) Exe build: 15:47:54 Dec 15 2004 (2229) hl2: Protocol version 7 Exe version 1.0.1.0 (valve) Exe build: 15:47:54 Dec 15 2004 (2229) |

make sure you got online enabled in steamemu.ini... |

Dude nice thanks alot this is really helpful. i have a question though. i am downloading the source gcf's as we speak. first off will i be able to play this off steam? second off when i do the installer. do i extract the gcf's and then install or does the installer extract out of the gcf's? |

the installer does everything for u ^^. the only thing u need to do is Start steam and just let it sit there but it must match the account ur gonna play the game with. and just double clikc on the shortcut to play the game. |
