This has got to be the best program ever made!
Play and Download JUST like you bought it (i bought the game so i know)! omfg awesome!
Does making your platform read-only actually work? Would it be considered the same as not restarting steam to force it not to update?

Condition Zero works fine for me, but i can't get anyother hl1 based games to work. Keep getting: Configuration section 'hl.exe_hl1' missing! Anyone else have this error?
PS: what is the correct way to install hl1 based games with this emu?

They won't work properly with the emu as I said in my previous post, but they do work with the ppatcher (the one on page 4), except cz.

hCUPa, i would like to know if there's anyway to run hl1 based games (non-source) without the need of running steam & launching from steam, just like hl2. i am sure this could be done now, just would like to know the appropriate files to be extracted, or you could make some hl1, cz, installers?

I got cz and dod to run, but with problems -

It ignores all the custom config settings, fonts, xhairs, models, so everything is default.

Work great for clients, Not work for srcds (Dedicated).
srcds have to use version 2.33

If hCUPa or a moderator want to put it in the first post, no pb....
PS: I think, I will continue to use hCUPa steamemu, it seems that loading times are shorter

zzz i cant play anything on steam. i run the ppatcher.exe and i already have all the games but when i run the game nothing happen (the half life based game)->like cs,cz,dod,tfc,richochet, only works with hl2 i think. zzzz so gay 
WHERE DO WE PUT THE Steam Emulator 2.50 files?

ok all my games on MONITOR 100% but when i launch any game it doesnt do anything -.-  (((((((((

type "steam://validate/220" in internet explorer.
10 - Counter-Strike
20 - Team Fortress Classic
30 - Day of Defeat
40 - Deathmatch Classic
50 - Opposing Force
60 - Ricochet
70 - Half-Life
80 - Condition Zero
100 - Condition Zero Deleted Scenes
211 - Source SDK
220 - Half-Life 2
240 - Counter-Strike Source
280 - Half-Life Source
300 - Day of Defeat Source
320 - Half-Life 2 Deathmatch
If u can't get it working this way run the installer in the emu archive, it will create a user folder in steamapps. Go to
steamapps/user/counter-strike source and edit steamemu.ini
with your steam account info.
SteamOnline=1 <--------- 1 for online 0 for offline
SteamUser=username
SteamPassword=password
You may want to shut down steam before u run installer.
Emu will create a shortcut on desktop for u.
Start steam and launch game from shortcut.
