if i have a retail dvd(uk) image, that means i have hl2 cfg and counter strike source cfgs(right?), i can install it and steam updates them, then i can use the fake cdkey to make steam unlock them, i can extract them with the gcfscape tool, but what tool can i use to be able to play online ? cose i don't want to download them off the inet, and tested them, and only h3llb0ss works, but it stops working after restart
oh and ps i also downloaded a hl2 release that works ok, except it shows the "aux power" thing always and it's always red, anyway to fix that ?
oh yea and if in the first days i could unlock the cfgs then extract them and hl2 would work, now when i tryed it doesn't anymore :/ which sux, damn protections...
