In all fairness who the hell needs steam down anyway, just use ppatcher for gods sake, and all those that say they dont want to have to have updates, there is a reason steam updates, to make itself better, its not that hard to just search for changed offsets with a hex editor or dissasembler, you could learn enough to make the ppatcher config files yourself in about an hour. |

a tool to auto generate ppatcher.pcc would be great i dont think is it too hard to do |

Thats about the funniest thing i've heard in here yet ! Unless you got some good cracking skills it would take ya whole hell of a lot longer than an hour First thing is you would have to where to start what tools you need (and will work) and knowledge about assembler code (and the ability to follow it in a debugger that steam won't detect) and if you have opened up just the steam.exe & steam.dll alone in a debugger/disassembler you would see that there is a whooooole hella of a lot of instructions to be chasing around ! Anyways ill be keeping an eye out for when steam breaks the ppatcher offsets to see if you come through |
