hl2 memory error

Post subject:  hl2 memory error
plz help i get the following error
the instuction at 0x........ at0x.......
the meory cannot be read

i have a p4 2.8 ghz laptop with 256mb ram and 64 mb internal graphics card.

also....defrag your pc, check for spyware and viruses, run disk-cleanup, dont have any other programs running when u play, play after re-starting pc, adjust virtual memory, buy more ram, buy a better video card :wink:

doesn't work with heapsize but works when i delete config.cfg. thnx and feel free to delete the post since the sticky is running
