it needs to be 100% acquired...the d/l may have stopped, make sure it is set to allow automatic updates in the game properties and try again

I am new to steam down and downloaded HL source. It downloaded fine although says amount aquired 28% but is using the full 766mb.... wtf ? i finished the download no prob and launched the game which kinda stays forever at the loading.... stage afetr the valve intro (the weird davinci guy with the red think on his eye......) what is wrong ? my PC runs HL2 and CS Source fine..... |

the gcf may say its all aquired, but its not, let it download to 100 |

i set it to auto updates but it wont dload and when i run the game it just crashes should i del the gcf ? i allready have a HL source folder and all though.... actucally maybe you are right the game says 30% now maybe i should just wait..... but no download windows has appaared edit : my bad the sateam monitor shows it is certainly updating..... sorry guys i am stupid..... very nice app though ! |

right click on the half life 2 game icon in "my games" list, and click properties and change it there |
