Steamlauncher.exe and ppatcher v3 do not work with the new silient update from steam. |

That's the Launcher I have waited for, the only thing I miss is a offline mode which recognizes the offline mode automatically. My solution for "Steam ID expired": I used my old Half Life 1 key in the normal Steam mode and I can play Half Life 2 and Counter-Strike Source online with this wonderful "SteamLauncher". Ask your friends for old Half Life 1 keys. |

can somebody who hasnt updated since the update (ie. have steam still on) send us unfortunate ppl their steam.dll and steam.exe (plus other files which may have been updated) |

I use ppatcher only and it still works, dunno what problems you guys got. Brother can use ppatcher also without any problems. We both can play all games online only using ppatcher. |

ok ok ..plz fill me in...i should install Steam from steampowered.com and start steam with the steamlauncher.exe and then what? would i get any updates....do i need to copy those updates to my Cs folder..or will the games apper on my game list??? Just want 2 make things clear |
