This crack does not prevent the ticket error....and it will not work with old dlls....

I have the old SiX St3am with an account from December.
It had ticket error.

I tried it in there, just straight into the steam folder with steam.exe,
but it doesn't work. Perhaps if I took all the gcf's and put them in a different account or something? One that hasn't been ticket errored yet? Maybe even a new account?

I know it sounds dumb, just a noob's idea.

Well, the thing is. I myself have a cable internet connection, thus I downloaded all the GCFs and can play. My little brother, however, has a dial-up connection. And over here, we also have to pay for local calls, so he does not want to dial-in everytime he want's to play. Also, he is not as good with computers. So I have three options for him:

Non steam-down, which completely extracts the half life 1 engine games, which I don't like, and uses SteamEmu for source games, so I can just as well use

SteamEmu, which works pretty good except for a lot of errorlogs with "SteamWaitForResource failed" and does not have the Steam play games list my brother likes

SteamCrack 3.0, which is ppatcher fixed for offline play as explained above, however, steam than updates itself which takes a long time on dial-up and might make the crack non-working, which my brother won't be able to fix himself

Thus, SteamLauncher with the offline fix of SteamCrack would be ideal. And with the source of SteamLauncher, it would take like two lines of code for hCUPa to add.

And NO, this does NOT fix the SteamTicket error!, nor does anything else and as explained by hCUPa is probably not possible (for those that don't read!).

Alright, since I got no reaction, I fixed it myself (hope you don't mind hCUPa). I saw some thread about SteamLauncher 1.1... dunno what that is about, but just to be sure there is no confusion this has version 1.0.1.

Note, this is the original SteamLauncher with the offline fix of SteamCrack added.
Maybe this is also useful to someone else.
