Ok guys, since I'm making quite a few Portable Games, I decided to make a thread instead of making individual topics. Here is the list of Portable Games I have made and are doing my best to upload ASAP;

-Counter-Strike: Source *Proper* *Too damn hard* *Maybe after camp..* *Or I'll wait until Decayed does it*

Portable Counter-Strike Decayed Lite *Proper* *DM/GG* by ZeroX

Here is my new release. Portable Counter-Strike 1.6 Decayed Lite *Proper* Incorporated with DeathMatch AND GunGame.

-Portable Counter-Strike 1.6 Decayed Lite has been released.
-The latest AMX and MetaMOD
-Has been made using Winrar's 'Silent' Extraction Method, you will NOT see the File Extracted via Winrar, only through 7Z, which is inconspicuous.
-Incorporated with DeathMatch and GunGame.
-Includes BOTS for Solo Play.
-Includes Zeph's Command Menu
-Flex's File Injector can be used, I take no credit in this part *Tested*. Here

Free of all bugs, been tested by myself and several trusted friends.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):

1. What is a Portable Game?
A Portable game is where you can run it off your USB. I designed these in a way once you double-click them they will extract into the computers Temporary Files then run from there, and once you exit the game it will automatically delete itself. This is very useful for using at school.
2. Where does the file extract itself to?
Temporary Files.
3. How is the filesize so small?
I took out all the stuff that isn't needed (Textures, Maps, Models, Materials), then compressed the entire thing using 7Z, then compress it again with Winrar to complete the process.
4. In CSS Portable, how come I cannot play Custom Maps?
I made it in a way where the only Textures, Materials etc that are kept are the ones which can only support the Maps which have been included, this will be fixed in the next release.
5. In Half-Life: Source DeathMatch, some white boxes appear, what are they?
Most likely a problem with the Textures or your computer, mind you I tested all of these and there have been NO white boxes etc.
6. Why do you only upload to Rapidshare and Filefront?
Since my upload speed is kinda slow (30KB/s at most) it takes a while to upload even the smallest files, Rapidshare and Filefront I averaged 17-20KB/s, with Megaupload I averaged 7KB/s. More mirrors will hopefully be added in the furture.
7. Can you write a Tutorial on how you make these?
Sometime...
8. Can you make this game and that game Portable?
PM me and I'll get to it, BUT I only do games which support Multiplayer (LAN or Online) or small games which are just fun to play.

9. Is CSS Portable Online capable?
No. LAN LAN LAN LAN LAN Only. So stop bugging me about it.
10. Which of these releases are Online capable?
OpenArena, Counter-Strike 1.6 Decayed Lite and HaloCE. Half-Life Source: DeathMatch and Condition Zero are both DigitalZone's releases so I assume they 'could' play online, but no guarantees.

And yes, you CAN name your child after me.

All of these works fine, just that the CSS portable doesnt seem to work on LAN. We have the portable css of yours in our school, we simply cant play it on lan, if writing status command, it doesnt show the intern IP (we do know the IP's, as we're playing 1.6 with no problems) so it shows 127.0.0.1 instead. So if we use the intern IP to connect nothing happens, (Failed after 4 retries) . Also Dust 2 doesnt work, it just crashes to desktop, otherwise than that, i love the CSS portable edition, maybe you'll make a better release of it next time

Wow this thread appearing after I went to my uni's gaming lab yesterday is just a weird coincidence. They don't have any steam games or anything on them (but over 20 amazing quad core rigs all LAN'ed - 8800 GTS and 30'' monitors), and only had UT2K4 on.

If css portable works (unlike the guy posting above me says) then these releases are perfect for what I wanted to do.

Will download this weekend and try 'em out.

Thanks for the feedback. Currently I'm in my last year of school and will not be updating any of the games until the end of the year, around November or if I'm lucky, I might be able to fix up CSS Portable sometime during the holidays, since I know about all the bugs.
