HexRays tell me there are 6 arguments to #5356, and also Bioshock2 is crashing if this function have 4 arguments. Bishock2.exe (v1.05): - if ( xlive_5356(0, v11, 0, &v25, v21, v22) == 0x8007007A && v27 <= 0x80 )
- {
- Src = 0;
- xlive_5356(0, v11, &Src, &v27, v23, v24);
- sub_1093F480((void *)v19, (char *)&Src);
- }
Src is guessed as __int16 by decompiler, so it seems to be WCHAR. Also, second argument seems to be XCONTENT_DATA returned by XEnumerate.

Look at the disassembly in the original XLive.dll before trusting the decompiler, it's known to make a lot of mistakes. virusek wrote: Also, second argument seems to be XCONTENT_DATA returned by XEnumerate. As I previously mentioned in the definition, all these structures are returned via XContentCreateEnumerator -> XEnumerate calls.

Meh, you right. Also 0x8007007A is HRESULT_FROM_WIN32(ERROR_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER).

Hi, I'm having trouble with Battlestations Pacific. It crash whenever I finished a mission where it suppose to do a save. However, any save game file can be loaded normally, it just CTD when doing saving.

That's the only game I have had trouble with trying to find a workaround, and it was so simple. Thanks man, you're awesome. Side note: How far along are you with the development of XLive's next update? No rush, just thought I'd ask. How can you make it work on BAC GOTY? I can't save my game progress. Tried all the fix but didn't work.

Tried all the fix but didn't work. It works: just drag the file from the archive into the win32 folder in your games directory. If you've played the previous Arkham titles then you would know that the game autosaves (not trying to insult your intelligence). The fix works like a charm

I tested fake xlive to play Bioshock 2 and DLCs and it worked. To start DLCs create keybindings to load the maps. Minerva Den has validation when loading savegame. This is not related with xlive. You can bypass with hex editor like this:
Create a savefile from main game and then use editor to copy contents from Minerva savefile starting from mainSave (unicode) until end of file. Then paste the content overwriting the main savefile also starting from mainSave. Then you can load the modified savefile from game to skip validation.
