Hi! I use the a xlive.dll on the Attachment with GTA IV (I use the RG Games Repack)

But if i copy this new Emu "15b" my save don't work anymore.

How i can get my save working with this new Emu? Or the save are incompatible?

Thanks!

you probably need to move your saves.. the save location for 15b is
C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\user_1234567800000000

Interesting enough to check out sometime. Didn't realize games could check the GFWL language. I wonder how though.

Currently working on unlocking PS3 character support for PC SFTK via exe mods (for SFTK modders). Extra costumes are usable (like Cole) and extra fighters can be used in arcade mode. Mega Man + Pac-Man movies are loading. Prologue, epilogue movie subtitles are missing from what I can tell.

Pac-Man also uses a glyph language like Ogre for post-battle subtitles. Capcom only left Ogre's data but maybe it's possible to rig up Pac-Man speak. There's some other PCM, MGM bugs that are a mystery - gems, plate titles.

edit:
SFTK alpha3 out
- PS3 character roster

Pac-Man talk icons
Pac-Man, Mega Man movies
PCM, MGM title plates

The gems and title plates work fine for me, for the gems, they appeared when i converted the gem.m4s and gem_info.m4s. and for the title plates, it's just that i had to manually convert ALL of the title emz's and title_all (or something like that) .emz

I can give you ALL of this if you want in a rar

BTW THANK YOU for helping me out on converting megaman and pacman and cole and kuro and toro to pc. :D

Hi catspaw,
I'M just asking on behalf of someone about Fable 3 and using the xlive.dll.

Is there any settings that need to be put in the ini file.
I thinks Fable 3 had DLc ,if i remember.
Is it just a simple case of dropping the dll in game folder?

all you need to do is add the DLC to the game dir per the README file. use catspaw's xlive emu(15b__) and play..
the only .ini editing that should be needed is for your name(and its totally optional)

Currently on break from SFTK. But I am reading the zetaboards.

My experience with hulkspidey:
- converted plate files work in 1.0. 1.08 has a PCM, MGM lock on title plates (no show).
- series = MGM, PCM ==> no gems. series = TK/SF ==> DLC gems work.
(I don't know anything about converted gem info files)

I have much of the stuff posted on zeta. I'll be following what goes on there first before deciding what/if I should do any more backporting special files - endian swapping apparently isn't straightforward from what I've read so far on that board. :|

edit: I'm leaning towards 'no' from the PM I've received from an associate. There seems to be plenty of people still trying so it'll get done I'm sure - it's by far not an "inactive" project unlike other things I've accidentally picked up at rin.ru.

I don't feel that greatly interested anymore in hacking, although rin.ru did give me some nice inspirational projects.

edit2:
SFTK updates. Endian conversion tools + alpha4.

edit3:
alpha4a. win8 fix + same team option.

Can anyone confirm that this mod works with GTA IV using catspaw's xlive emu? I tried to use it, but the game crashed on startup:

EDIT: Nevermind, turned off D3DOverrider and it worked.

That GTA IV DLC rar has bunch of other stuff in it. But if I understand correctly I only need the DLC1 & DLC2 folders to be put on a 1.0.7.0 install along with the unlocker and xlive.dll from catspaw, correct? (Awesome work on those btw, seemed uncrackable for so long, but I guess nothing is, as long as one is persistent..!)

You are right. But uploader (arom) is a very kind man, he also put in the archive files that may be needed. :)
Note that "pc" folder contain files that are different from non-gfwl version of gta iv. Most likely, they are needed.

I just did it successfully...
Well, the same archive, divided into smaller (1Gb) parts:
