Okay. Thank you both for 8.1 info. Told MinHook works on 8.1. So double negative tipster. :)

Thanks. For vanilla SF4, I put the complete alt costume pack in the dlc folder inside of another folder called Complete Alternate Costume Pack. The game said that my dlc was corrupted. What did I miss? Does the game have to have its registry entries?

Nevermind, figured it out. Had to set up the dlc folder like stated in the readme to the xlive download. Thanks again :)

Do you have to have the real gfwl installed to install the update cabs? Lastly, could you add that txt file to the first post of this thread so it can be easily found?

Cabs don't need GFWL from experience.

for some reason, an update for ssf4ae is failing to install. does the game have to have its registry entries for it to install?

Usually registry = yes. Try fiddling with SuperOrca - edit msi. Can't explain but worth a try.

Any news about MultiPlayer (co-op precisely) support??. I see this project is growing very well!! And I'm waiting for the day, somebody announcing that MP or coop is supported. I'm outdated in this topic, but as far I can test (14e and 14g versions), tryed to play Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet 2 but I got no luck ... Miss those co-op days!... and it will be great play it again without GFWL!! Many greetings n' cheers to developer and contributors for the promising job they're doing!.

most GFWL updates can be extracted manually.. for example,
setup.exe /f x:\randomdir

That worked. Thanks.

Can anybody check their SF4 or SSF4AE and see if their dizzy chickens or dizzy skulls work? I reinstalled vanilla and the dizzy objects never show up when you knock the opponent dizzy. Same problem with AE.

EDIT: It's a nvidia driver issue. Works on another machine with a lesser driver, not on this one. Is on an external hdd.

Using Catpaws 15b for Fable 3 is there anyway to change the name of the Dog & Hero Weapons?

yes, changing the dog name and weapons work with catspaw's 15b xlive.dll emu

Post subject:  Re: XLive (aka GFWL) emulator

Genuine thanks to everyone for helping. catspaw is aborted.

1. Age of Empires Online (offline launcher)

Possible to manually download server files and do fresh installation. Game starts but server authentication 0% figured out.

Also think DLC is included in-game. But moot point with no usable server.

2. Street Fighter x Tekken

see readme

3. XLive
- can't figure out language option
- overlay problems unsolved
- misc download links not findable
- backports abandoned
- S8P server workaround abandoned

Enough with disappointment.

Walking away. Starting new life.
Thanks. Goodbye.
