i had read this as well , very early in the morning about dx10 support ! but i think after so many problems with the new 1.1 patch they have cancelled it , and changed the update log !

Whatever.'s post on the previous page mentions it in the changelog, but the "DX10 cards are now fully supported" is no longer listed on the official site.

@demde , no it was written very early in the morning in the changelog , i have seen this as well , but its removed now from the changelog on the official site !

??? If you're dissapointed you should blame the people at Crytek for apparently posting the wrong or a future changelog. \m/

Significant optimisation to Medium detail settings (PC Only)

I really hope someone cracks that update cause playing on low/medium this game runs like total shit... :evil:

Can anyone with a DirectX 10.1 gpu try this, i only have a DX10 gpu
run -> dxcpl -> Edit list and add Crysis3.exe and set future level to 11_1 and enable force warp
If you don't have it it should be in DirectX SDK thats in Windows 8 SDK(yes it works on 7)

If i do this it forces any app in the list to think i have a 4.1 shader model (a dx10.1 GPU) but i have 4.0, on a DX10.1 GPU it's forced to 5.x ::D

Be warned by doing this the DX11 features will be emulated on the CPU.

users report this method has worked on NFS Most wanted 2012, Sleeping Dogs, Crysis 2

:!: EDIT added dxcpl, don't know if it works without the SDK tho, test it on OpenGL extensions Viewer Shader model should be different when activated..

I have a 10.1 gpu, but haven't downloaded the game yet...

Doesn't work for me. Though I only have a gtx260. Maybe it's only dx10 and not 10.1?

Threat Awareness module levelling targets reduced to 3/10 enemy C4's destroyed
Potential fix for "Incoming!" Skill Assessment not levelling up correctly
Fix for Social Challenge skill assessments not being tracked correctly

Crytek also said: "We have identified an issue in Patch 1.1 where the Dog Tags screen in Player Profile will show you having less dog tags than before the patch, this will affect all platforms when the patch goes live. We have identified the issue and have a fix in place but there will be a period of time before this can be rolled out. This only affects the dogtags in the 5th and 6th categories in the Dog Tags screen.

"It is important to note that this is a UI issue rather than you actually losing your dogtags, the game still knows what you have/haven't unlocked but is not correctly displaying them."
