Okay, question for someone who got an activation key but already downloaded the preload last week -- is there any way to play the preload without redownloading the game on Origin?

Edit: N/M, somehow got it to work

Unfortunately, I never really got into DA. I started Origins like 3 times and after a couple of hours lost interest. I also quit the second game after some time. Ironically enough, I enjoyed Mass Effect a lot more and played through all games. That said I still want to try out Inquisition. But as you can tell, I'm not too hyped about it, which is why I have no problem waiting for a release.

I doubt, we'll see a crack for this protection this year, but perhaps in the first half of 2015. I believe that only RLD is able to properly reverse Denuvo unless RZR comes back from hibernation. I don't think any other group (scene and P2P) is competent enough to do so right now. You also have to consider that they've had the chance to analyse the protection since September when FIFA 15 came out. That's around 2 months now and there's no sign of success yet.

Back in the day it took RLD about
- 14 months to remove Starforce 3 from SC: Chaos Theory. (03/2005 until 05/2006)
- 12 months to remove Solidshield from Assault on Dark Athena. (04/2009 until 04/2010)
- 6 months to remove Solidshield from Risen. (09/2009 until 04/2010)

Assuming Denuvo isn't worse and more complicated than Starforce 3, I'd say 1H/15 seems very likely for it to get cracked. (especially since DA:I is a very good reason)

There also seems to be a more significant imbalance on male/female romance options with female characters given the lion's share of the available love interests, especially of the opposite sex.

On the bright side, they avoided the lazy approach of DA2 in not making 90% of the love interests bisexual.

I am kinda newbie in RPG games (2 years ago, First rpg I played was aveyond.....don't know if many even know it. Then looking for games like that, I went to Baldur gate 1+2, then Icewind, after that ToEV and Planescape torment. Then a year back, My friend gave me DAO, I became Bioware's huge fan. In one year, I have played all Bioware Games + Witcher both part. Yes, I pirated most games)

After Playing DA:I.... Idk how can anyone call this game crap?

I played it for 27 hours (started this weekend) I can't resist leaving it alone.

I am no computer Junkie, but you can find all sort of solutions with google. I fixed few myself. I am playing this game on:

i3 3220 (its dual core)
R5670-PMD1G/OC
4 GB RAM
720p

I am not that rich, its 2 year old computer. I have no issues whatsoever. 90% games i have found need some patches or tweaking. Hell, I liked NWN 2 (all DLC's) even original gameplay, but it had too much hate on review sites.

- 12 months to remove Solidshield from Assault on Dark Athena. (04/2009 until 04/2010)

FIFA 14 (Denuvo v1) 46days, cracked by 3DM

Denuvo v2 Release dates:
FIFA 15: 23rd September 2014
Lords of the Fallen: 28th October 2014
Dragon Age: Inquisition: 18th November 2014

It's just two months from first Denuvo v2 release and about a week since peek of interest - DA:I copies availability.

PS:
It's just games, not anything important right?
Games are released in alpha or beta stage.
It tooks two to three patch waves to make product fully usable.

If you need the product so badly that you are crying for it you are more affected by its marketing that people that really bought it.

It's no big deal, there are other games:

Because just like Senator Palpatine in Star Wars 3 at the epic battle with Mace Windu at the broken window Palpatine had to connect with his inner "Dark side of the force" and thus his "face" changed as he shoot lightning at Windu.

Denuvo is Dragon Age: Inquisition's version of the "Dark side" and thus the women became (as you say) "ugly" because of it. However, never underestimate the power of Denuvo. But also know this; The light side of the force will prevail, and soon Denuvo will be destroyed and we will have peace (and a cracked game).

But alas, the girls that you can romance in this game will forever until a modder fix the evil Denuvo caused always be ugly.

Ye, I think it's my favorite Dragon Age. I played probably 500 hours of DA:O but that game was not nearly as ambitious. It was more of an ode to nostalgia, for games that came before it. DA:I is firmly looking forward, to what open world games can and should be.

Only issue I've had is the game will eventually CTD after some hours playing it. Randomly. There are some other issues they will need to patch that affect a variety of different hardware configurations in different ways. That's games for you, these days. Actually, looking back, we always had to deal with this shit. Maybe gamers just feel entitled to shriek about it more nowadays.

The best advice anyone can ever give anybody wrt DA:I -- get the fuck out of Hinterlands. It's Elwynn Forest. Pretty, yes. Useful, certainly, as a training ground. But who wants to spend their life fighting murlocs and bears?

Just wondering. If I buy the Dragon Age: Inquisition Standard Edition. Can I use the key on the DELUXE edition that I will be downloading?

Tried it. Unless there's some way to fool the game, the answer is no. The key will work on the Deluxe Edition install, but none of the deluxe content will be unlocked.

I guess i'll just have to wait 2 years ;)
