To summarize: PC is a expensive luxury and not all can afford it.

Not necessarily. It basically depends on whether or not you want to play the latest games on highest settings with constant high framerates. In all other cases an affordable middle class pc can easily last four years.

In my opinion it just comes down to preference. If people enjoy relaxing on their sofas and playing via console then why not? Being able to choose is what matters. That's why btw I'm not against multi platform titles even though I only play on pc.

I don't have much of that luxury, but i can play newer games in lower setting on my current rig. So far we have only 3 uncracked PC games which other 2 are of no interest to me and many others.

It's better to have a modded PS3 or XBOX 360 (cost effective compromise) with access to FREE games than NOTHING.

These 3 uncracked games are not everything. So "NOTHING" part is completely wrong.

Also you can spend that money on upgrading your PC, so you can play games on higher settings.

So waiting longer for the crack or buying the game original is a better and cheaper solution than buying a console just to experience the games with crappy settings.

I'm not seeing the logic of getting a modded PS3 being the "free" solution. Don't you have to buy a modded PS3 first?

Also, anyone talking about the in-progress emulator should realize that's YEARS down the line. The game won't only be cheap, it'll be cracked by then. Long before then. Plus, who knows how much longer before it's even playable emulated.

And yes, the PS3 version is probably the equivalent of running everything on "low" settings, and even still I can't imagine the FPS being too hot. Around the equivalent of passing off a film on laserdisc as a blu-ray release. That would be okay if the PS3 was the intended platform, but it's not more than a downgraded port.

Okay for those that really don't care about graphics at all and trying to get as much mileage out of their PS3/Xbox360 as humanly possible, but anyone wanting to play the game reasonable close to the intended visual presentation is likely only interested in the PC/PS4/XboxOne editions.

By "free", Avalonica meant "free" once you've acquired said console(s) or if you already have said consoles in modded form (I have 2 custom firmware PS3s and a shitty all-AMD gaming PC), then it will cost nothing, sans bandwidth/data allowance and storage costs, to acquire the game via legally dubious means.

It's not about your economical situation or your definition about experiencing console games with crappy settings! It's about other people without lots of cash having options without lots of sacrifices.

Games on PS3 and XBOX360 are generally very well optimized and run the same for everyone, torrented titles are playable on download (no cracks needed) if the console is modded..., it's more or less plug'n'play. On PC "hardware" (cash) dictate how good your gaming experience will be, and there is no quality-control or standard to speak of. How many times do you under a "consoles" lifetime have to upgrade it? Simply put; a modded console is always a cheaper and more practical solution than a PC for any person without lots of cash.

Sure, a PS3 or XBOX360 console has "crappy graphics" versus a state of the art PC, but does that mean it's terrible on it's own, hell no. Bill Gates is hell of a lot richer than you, but is your life totally crap and unplayable to you just because of that? Unless you plan to start some self-funded social welfare for people with crappy PC's and buy retail games/hardware upgrades for them please stop judging everyone by your own fucking standards and accept that some people actually have to make smart investments when it comes to their gaming needs.

A second hand modded PS3 or XBOX360 is a fucking smart investment since all downloaded games are FREE, does not need cracks and are OPTIMIZED for their system (unlike PC games).

I get it... consoles are not for you, I get it, really, so unless you get high on trolling or post-farming stop clusterfuck my "from the heart advices" to people on this forum when I present some fucking workable alternatives, unless you of course shall start to pay for other peoples shit other than just give cheap air.

Since this thread is all about "Dragon Age: Inquisition" here is the land as it now stands:
1. Until "Denuvo" is cracked pirated DA:I is not playable on PC
2. When "Denuvo" is cracked many pirates will not be able to play DA:I due to crappy PC hardware.
3. Anyone buying a second-hand modded PS3/XBOX360 can without issues after download play DA:I (and all other games made for respective console 100% free).
4. If you got the cash, buy the retail game for PC, PS4 or XBONE

So here we are with some "options"..., some better than others. For anyone that likes easy gaming without a tons of tweaking and costly upgrades, go moddded console; all games are FREE to download. The initial investment of that console is repaid after just some torrented games.

Well DA:I is fairly optimizied right? Not like an ubisoft game

Fairly low end PC's could run it on low settings

Since some of the questions already have been answered by another of my posts I'll start with emulation:
Yes, its years before PS3 emulation is working as intended, but PS1 and PS2 emulation works great now and from a nostalgic point of view its fun to be able to play games made for systems not in the market any more (when that time comes).

Regarding "intended platform"... well, as long you can play the games you download for free it's quite pathetic to complain. I mean, if you are not happy with a modded PS3 or XBOX360 buy a PS4 or XBONE with swine-priced games, or a shit-expensive computer (if you want that high-end graphics) and games. People with CASH have lots of options open for them, and people with "less cash" has less options.

BioWare made a routine demand four running threads in the DA:I menu (on PC), so while the game by itself can run on any vanilla dual-core, unless you have a hyper-thread dual core you simply put cant play the game. Why did BioWare make this? Who knows... but it's really sad that they have to resort to shit like this.

Fuck this game and fuck EA.

If you don't feel like waiting for a Denuvo crack then just go and buy a second hand modded PS3 or XBOX360 and torrent the console version of game and fucking play. It's not harder than that!

EDIT:
And for the sake of discussion: If Denuvo never ever gets cracked and you still want to play Dragon Age: Inquisition on PC follow these step-by-step instructions:

1. torrent the PS3 version of the game
2. store it on your HDD
3. Bookmark these two pages: http://rpcs3.net/ and http://www.emunewz.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=199
4. In the future most PS3 games will be playable on this emulater (just wait and see).

So whatever comes first; Denuvo crack or PS3 emulation of game on PC just hang in there. :KISSING:

Torrent console versions, dude, you must be out of your mind. I'm a PC gamer, I don't do peasantry.

I just said fuck it and bought the game from Origin. Fucking EA assholes...

Jesus that guy is console fanboy.
Who gonna buy 2nd hand museum hardware just for DA:I (720p/ULTRA LOW/~30fps) ?
True is that someone who have BIG HYPE for this game already buy it.
About PS3 emu...to run emulated DA:I from PS3 on PC ppl gonna need to have x2 or x3 times better hardware from PC Req Spec to run that game on emu with 720p/ULTRA LOW
so it's really ultra useless.
Black friday is coming, Christmas also ahead big sales gonna be ;)

Dude, you have to buy physical disks and burn those console games before being able to play the said games, i don't even have to do that.   In addition to not buying some crappy console, i don't pay for physical disks as well, so it is cheaper this way.

Who knows? Maybe you got a single rewritable disk, which every time your console asks for a certain disk of the game, you go, grab, erase and reburn before feeding it to your console. Perhaps this is part of your cheap solution as well.

at least on ps3 you don't have to burn the game, actually I don't think you can even if you wanted, they run from the internal/external hdd but I agree that it's cheaper/better to actually buy the game on pc

Post subject:  Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition

I won't even bother to answer the quotes directly since it's off-topic enough as it is. I would never recommend a modded console solution that only support burned DVD's. You play torrented games directly from a HDD not a shitty DVD. The very point of piracy is to be able to get stuff FREE .

Regarding console graphics, do you really give a shit? To anyone and everyone with a high-end PC's, my console posts was never intended for you in the very first place so give it a rest already.

I wrote about modded console piracy as an existing and above all "working" alternative to PC's. And believe it or not, not all people can afford games. Modded consoles and game piracy is a very viable option for people with little to no cash.
