Update 1 for PD2 BETA was 52.5MB, so.... maybe a xdelta patch would be cool ::)

hey guys, can anyone confirm any of the cracks working in Windows 8, i just get nothing when i launch... i download the 3DM version and tried Ali213 and skidrow cracks nothing works...

Yep, is working fine here with latest steam and steamworks patch in Windows 8. I found it would not work with older steam and greenluma, so Ive made another steam just for this game, however the older steam would say "steam is not running".

You might want to try running it in compatibility mode maybe? Give it a go to see if that helps. All cracks are working fine btw.

thanks, must be updated steam... though steam never wanted to update for me... how can i force update?

solved the issue, my laptop was trying to run the game with my processor instead of graphics card... most game just run on it automatically so i forgot to even check...

I'm having a strange problem: PayDay 2 beta always minimizeses itself right after startup. And everytime I select its window it minimizeses again. So no chanche for me to see the game window.

It does place the files but in the duplicate payday 2 beta\ directory :D copy them over I guess and overwrite:)

edit :( ugh no worky starts up and quits running.. tried earlier fix for update in other post but same ... hmmmm

no they are fine... i tested this 100% before posting!! please double check the install directory before installing!!!

you are correct sir, what it was is when you select the directory if u need to point it elsewhere, it then doubles up thats all,, I have to remove the dupe at end of path in installer field :D

still cant get the game to work now though :(
think I know why, ive probably porked the files :O ill have to reinstall it all and let the bundle update correctly

Did not need to reinstall :D just re run it correctly and patched the files and it works.. thankyou :D
